<td align="left">Hello BCC Family,&nbsp;</p>
<div>As I look back on the month of April, it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of this year so far for me for a couple of reasons.   First of all, I though Easter Sunday was especially memorable as a new friend of ours came to faith in Jesus as her Savior after hearing the message of the resurrection.  And secondly, our church was also blessed last month&nbsp;</p>
<div style="text-align: left;">with the opportunity to reconnect with serving our brothers and sisters in Christ up in Nicaragua who lack of food and shelter.&nbsp;</p>
<div><img src="http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs077/1102712936445/img/172.jpg" border="0" alt="" vspace="5" width="441" height="327" /></div>
<p>Due to lack of help in organizing a trip we haven&#8217;t been able to make to Nicaragua for about a year and a half now.  So it was great to finally be able to get up there again thanks to David Spell (our trustee trip leader) being back in the area to help facilitate our trips.  Our goal is to make a couple of these trips a year, so we&#8217;ll keep you updated on the next trip and how you can be involved.  Thank you to all who gave so generously to make this trips a success.  We were blessed with over $5,000 to put to use on behalf of the poor, and many others gave of their time, talent, prayers&#8230; and used clothes to make the trip a success. THANK YOU!  To learn a bit more about what happens on these trips, be sure to scroll down in this letter to find a couple of web links where you can view a mission trip video put together by BCC elder Glen Godfrey as well as our mission trip blog.</p>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">A couple of other events from last month that we can celebrate as a church include the final session of the Alpha Marriage Course and the women&#8217;s retreat that the ladies just returned from yesterday.  Regarding the Marriage Course, this was the first time our church has ever run a marriage course, and by all measures it was a great success.  We&#8217;ve had a lot of positive feedback from the 20 couples who attended, and on behalf of Stacey and I&#8230;. we are very thankful for the meaningful communication and conversations we were able to share during the course.  And regarding the Women&#8217;s retreat, this was the biggest year yet with 180 women in attendance.  From what I&#8217;ve heard so far the Holy Spirit was really on the move in the hearts many who went, and we look forward to hearing a couple of testimonies about the retreat at church this coming Sunday.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">Thank you all for your prayers and for all of the ways that you participate in the life of our church.  See you next Sunday!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><strong>&nbsp;</p>
<div style="text-align: center;">Grace and Peace to you,</div>
